AND-RÉ created a new facade for the IPO (Portuguese Oncology Institute) buildings in Porto. The facade intends to incase the existing buildings, dating from the 70´s and the 90´s, and maximize the sustainability, uplifting the structure to A+ environmental class.

Made of glass and solar panels, the facade is a new skin that wraps the buildings. Besides the technical aspects, the new casing will also be a form of updating the aestethic of the previous structure into a contemporary architectonic language.
