We are pleased to announce that CAA – Águeda Arts Centre is one of the finalists of the Building of the Year Award (ODA2019).

After two weeks of nominations and more than 10,000 votes, were chosen the favorite projects among 600 works built in Portuguese-speaking countries.

Among the 15 finalists, there are 9 Brazilian and 6 Portuguese projects, covering a remarkable diversity of programs. The selection is an interesting sample of the contemporary architectural production in Brazil and Portugal, strongly marked by the exploitation of materials, the richness of geographical contexts and the various challenges faced by our societies.

The winner that will represent the best example of Lusophone architecture is selected by public voting until April 23. You can vote on our CAA – Águeda Arts Centre once a day HERE. We appreciate your support.

The result will be announced on April 24, 2019.
