Vigário House, a project dating back to 2008 that was completed early this year, unveiled by the lens of the photographer Fernando Guerra (FG+SG) in a sunny October day.
The project is the outcome of the privileged context of the existing ruins, that set the stage for the architecture narrative. The new build body adapts itself to the stone walls, filling the interstitial spaces, unifying the mass and providing a contrast backdrop for the rough stone surfaces – the main characters in the narrative – in a close dialog between the old and the new.
